For my Final Project at university I designed a wayfinding system which allowed blind and visually impaired shoppers to successfully navigate supermarkets. Supermarkets can be a difficult thing to navigate even for the sighted so I wanted to create a solution using both graphic design and 3D/spatial design.

Design elements

The design consists of three main elements: tactile floor tiles, bluetooth beacons which correspond with an app and the redesign of typical supermarket shelving.
